AIRPORT/STATION TRANSFERS

Guests are strongly recommended to hire a car to maximise their mobility and holiday enjoyment; but for those who require it, there is a limousine service that will pick up and set down at Florence and Pisa airports and Florence and Siena railway stations.

Take the TAVARNELLE exit from the FIRENZE-SIENA Superstrada (SS2); turn right, then shortly after, second right, very sharply, following the sign to CASTELLINA. After ca. 2 km, turn diagonally left uphill to BADIA A PASSIGNANO.

Immediately past the monastery, turn right downhill on to VIA DI POGGIO AL VENTO, following the signs to CANTINETTA DI RIGNANA.(This road becomes untarred after c.400 metres.) 

Drive through the forest for several km – taking a well-signposted left then right turn – until you come to a narrow driveway between 2 stone buildings. That is the Cantinetta di Rignana.

VILLA RIGNANA is approximately 400 m beyond, down on the left, just past the deconsecrated church of Santa Maria and a row of cypress trees. If lost please telephone +39 055 852137 to be rescued!
